InventHelp® Client Patents Pizzelle Maker Invention: Could Offer a Variety of Sweet Treat Designs

The "Pizzelle Maker" could create decorative pizzelles. The appliance would be easy to use and could enable individuals to add a personal and creative touch to their baking. The invention would be ideal for different holidays, celebrations and events. The unit would be designed to fit on any countertop and would feature dishwasher-safe components.
The Pizzelle Maker would consist of a modified pizzelle maker, which would feature interchangeable plates that would include different decorative impressions. The rectangular unit would measure approximately 12 to 13 inches long, 10-1/2 to 11 inches wide and three to four inches high. The unit would include conventional features found on a standard waffle, sandwich or pizzelle maker, including long, cool-to-the-touch handles, a place to wrap the unit's electrical cord and a small "ready" indicator light. The upper, stationary plate of the iron would feature two standard printed impressions, while the lower portion of the iron would accept interchangeable decorative plates. The plates would measure approximately 10-1/2 to 11 inches, six to seven inches wide and would be producible from non-stick chrome. After the desired decorative plate is in place, the user would place a spoonful of batter into the iron and press it closed. A clasp would be included to secure the iron. The unit could produce two five-inch-diameter pizzelles in approximately 30 seconds. Different decorative designs relating to specific holidays, events and themed parties could be included on the interchangeable plates. Variations that would create more pizzelles at once or larger pizzelles could be offered.
